The Saudi National Bank (SNB), also known as Bank AlAhli, is the largest bank in Saudi Arabia by assets and the second-largest by market capitalization. The company was formed by the merger of the National Commercial Bank (NCB) and Samba Financial Group in April 2021. Today, Saudi National Bank employs about 15,000 people and serves over 11 million customers through more than 480 branches, 95 remittance centers, 19 retail centers and 3,650 ATMs across the country. It also has international subsidiaries, branches and offices in Pakistan, Turkey, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Shanghai and Seoul. The Bank provides a wide array of retail, corporate, investment and private banking services. It is the largest investment manager in the Arab region. As of September 30, 2024, Saudi National Bank had US$300 billion in total assets, US$175 billion in net loans, US$169 billion in customer deposits and US$45 billion in shareholder’s equity. The company’s market capitalization was US$53 billion at December 25, 2024.
