Gulf International Bank B.S.C. (GIB) is a universal bank based in Manama, Bahrain. It provides a broad range of financial products and services in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. It offers retail, commercial and Islamic banking, wholesale and investment banking, asset management, advisory and treasury services, credit products, project and structured finance, syndication and agency services, global transaction banking, online and mobile banking solutions and other services. Meem is the digital retail banking arm of GIB. The Bank has international subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, and branches in USA, the UAE and Oman. Gulf International Bank was established in 1975 and is owned by the governments of GCC countries. Today, GIB employs approximately 1,700 people. As of June 30, 2024, Gulf International Bank had $45.7 billion in total assets and $32 billion in customer deposits.
