Capitec Bank Limited, the main operating subsidiary of Capitec Bank Holdings Ltd, is one of the leading retail, business and digital banks in South Africa. With more than 19 million active clients and approximately 15,300 employees, it offers a range of affordable products and services including transaction accounts, fixed-term and tax-free savings accounts, personal and home loans, commercial property lending, business term loans, credit for medical needs, vehicle and education loans, debit and credit cards, overdraft facilities, mobile and online services, and cell phone app. It also offers investment services, rental finance, payment solutions for businesses, treasury products, foreign exchange, funeral cover and credit insurance, among others. All banks in South Africa close at 3:30 pm, but Capitec keeps open its branches until 6 pm or even 8 pm. Some branches trade on Saturday and Sunday.
