Discovery Bank

Discovery Bank Limited is a new fully digital retail bank in South Africa. It offers a wide suite of products and services for individuals and businesses, including transaction accounts with an optional overdraft facility; demand, notice, tax-free and fixed deposit savings accounts; investment and multi-currency forex accounts; black, gold and platinum credit cards, debit cards as well as mobile banking app for Android and iOS. Launched in March 2019, the company is the world's first behavioural bank. Currently, Discovery Bank had over 700,000 clients and more than 1.2 million customer accounts. Discovery Bank operates as a subsidiary of Discovery Limited, the largest health insurer in South Africa.
