Nedbank Group Ltd, headquartered in Johannesburg, is a bank holding company and one of the four largest financial institutions in the Republic of South Africa. The Group operates through approximately 630 domestic branches/outlets and 4,400 ATMs. The company’s main business lines are Corporate and Investment Banking, Retail and Business Banking, Nedbank Wealth and Nedbank Africa Regions. Nedbank Limited is the Group’s principal banking subsidiary. With over 25,000 employees and 7.3 million customers, it offers transaction and savings accounts, zero-monthly-fee accounts, personal and corporate loans, home and student loans, vehicle and asset finance, commercial mortgage lending, credit and debit cards, life and non-life insurance, asset and wealth management, foreign exchange, online banking, Nedbank Money app and Private Wealth app, and other services. As of June 30, 2024, Nedbank Group had R1.36 trillion in total assets, R1.1 trillion in deposits, R924 billion in loans and R119 billion in shareholders' equity. The company’s ordinary shares are listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) under the ticker symbol NED and the Namibian Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol NBK, with a market capitalization of R143 billion (US$8.1 billion) at November 11, 2024.
