Toronto-Dominion Bank (known as TD Bank Group) is a multinational financial services corporation with over 27 million customers worldwide. It operates through three business segments: Canadian Retail, U.S. Retail and Wholesale Banking including TD Securities. With over 100,000 employees, it maintains approximately 1,060 retail branches and 3,380 ATMs across Canada as well as 1,150 retail stores and 2,700 ATMs in the United States. TD is one of the ten largest banks in North America in term of total assets. The company offers high interest savings and chequing accounts, personal, small business and corporate loans, mortgages, auto loans, student lines of credit, debit and credit cards, wealth management, mutual funds, guaranteed investment certificates (GICs), retirement savings plans as well as property & casualty, life, health and disability insurance, and other services. The Bank's shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), with a market capitalization of US$101 billion as of January 2025. The company was formed in 1955 by the merger of the Bank of Toronto and Dominion Bank, which were established in 1855 and 1869, respectively. As of July 31, 2024, TD Bank Group had C$1.97 trillion in total assets and C$1.2 trillion in deposits.
