Banco Macro S.A., headquartered in Buenos Aires, is the largest private bank in Argentina by number of branches and ATMs. With more than 9,100 employees, it focuses on low and mid-income retail customers and small & medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as provides services for provincial governments. The company’s offerings include personal and commercial loans, mortgages, auto loans, savings and checking accounts, time deposits, home and auto insurance, cash management, trade services as well as mobile and online solutions, foreign exchange, money transfers and Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, among others. In 2019, Banco Macro completed the merger with Banco del Tucumán. As of June 30, 2024, Banco Macro had total assets of US$11 billion, net loans of US$3.5 billion, deposits of US$6.7 billion and shareholders' equity of US$3.2 billion. The company’s shares are listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
