It offers individual life insurance, and savings and retirement products in Canada, the United States and the UK. The company was founded in 1874 and started its business in Canada in 1881. In 2020, the company sold New York-domiciled Foresters Life Insurance & Annuity Company (FLIAC) to Nassau Financial Group. Today, the company’s total premiums exceed $1.2 billion.
