Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and its affiliates, is a group of American insurance companies providing auto, motorcycle, recreational vehicle, home, life, farm and commercial insurance products as well as asset management, mutual funds, annuities, retirement plans and strategic investments. It also offers dog, cat, bird and exotic pet insurance. Nationwide was established in 1926 under the name of Farm Bureau Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.
