Banco Credicoop Cooperativo Limitado, headquartered in Buenos Aires, is the biggest cooperative bank in Argentina. It is a non-profit financial institution providing a comprehensive range of products and services to individuals, cooperatives, small & medium-sized businesses and social economy enterprises. It offers savings and current accounts, personal and SME loans, mortgages, credit and debit cards, insurance, investment products, foreign exchange, online banking and other services. Credicoop also participates in pension fund administration market via its shareholding in Previsol AFJP. With approximately 275 branches, 13 service centers and 775 automatic teller machines (ATMs), Banco Credicoop has a wide presence across the country. As of August 31, 2024, it reported US$5.8 billion in total assets. The company was created in 1979 by the merger of 44 credit unions and today employs over 5,000 people.
