Federated Hermes Inc (formerly known as Federated Investors Inc), based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an American global investment manager with over 11,000 clients and approximately 2,000 employees. The company offers a broad range of customized financial solutions including mutual and exchange traded funds, closed-end and collective investment funds, variable annuity and private funds, managed and institutional separate accounts, and non-U.S. products. As of December 31, 2023, Federated Hermes had $757.6 billion in total assets under management (AUM). The firm was established in 1955 by high school classmates John Donahue, Thomas Donnelly and Richard Fisher. In November 2022, the company launched U.S. Strategic Dividend ETF (NYSE: FDV), following the 2021 introduction of two fixed-income products - Short Duration High Yield ETF and Short Duration Corporate ETF. The company's shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FHI, with a market capitalization of about $3.0 billion at April 15, 2024.
