City National Bank (CNB) is the largest bank headquartered in Los Angeles, California. It is a full-service bank providing a broad array of personal, business and wealth management products through around 70 branches in eight states (California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, Virginia) and Washington DC. The company is a division of Toronto-based Royal Bank of Canada and the 34th largest commercial bank in the United States in terms of assets. City National Bank was founded in 1954 by a group of local entrepreneurs to provide services for the entertainment and real estate industries in Beverly Hills. In 2011, the company opened branches in Atlanta and Nashville to better serve the music business. In 2020, CNB expanded its footprint with locations in Buckhead, GA and Tysons, VA. As of July 31, 2024, City National Bank had $92 billion in total assets and $76 billion in deposits.
