KeyCorp (NYSE: KEY), headquartered in Cleveland, is one of the 25 largest financial services companies in the U.S. Through its primary banking subsidiary KeyBank N.A., it offers a wide suite of deposit, lending, insurance, mortgage, investment and wealth management products and services. The company’s two main business lines are Consumer Bank and Commercial Bank. Key’s Consumer Bank provides services to individuals and SMEs through approximately 940 full-service retail branches and 1,190 automated teller machines (ATMs) in 15 states including Ohio, Michigan, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Indiana, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, Pennsylvania and New York as well as through national digital lending business Laurel Road. The Commercial Bank consists of institutional and commercial segments. Laurel Road was acquired by KeyBank in 2019 and offers online lending products such as consumer loans, graduate school loans, student loan refinancing and residential mortgages in all 50 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc (KBCMI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of KeyCorp, is a securities broker and dealer, whose business consists of underwriting, investment banking and brokerage transactions on behalf of institutional customers. Key Investment Services LLC (KIS), a subsidiary of KBCMI, offers investment and financial planning services to individuals. KeyCorp shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol KEY, with a market capitalization of $17 billion at November 1, 2024.
