U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) is a financial holding company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is the parent company of U.S. Bank N.A., the fifth largest commercial bank in the country. It currently has over 2,200 branches in 26 states and 4,500 automated teller machines nationwide. The company provides a full range of retail, corporate, commercial and investment banking services including lending and deposit products, mortgages, credit cards, insurance, private banking, wealth management, brokerage and trust services, leasing, foreign exchange, cash management, online and mobile banking and more. The company was established in 1863 and today employs over 70,000 people. MUFG Union Bank, with about 300 retail branches in California, Washington and Oregon, joined U.S. Bancorp in 2022. The shares of U.S. Bancorp are listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
