Insight Investment Management Ltd, headquartered in London, is one of the leading global asset managers with a focus on fixed income and currency, liability-driven investment, risk management, and multi-asset and absolute return strategies. The firm was established in 2002 through the merger of asset management arms of HBOS Group. In 2003, Insight purchased Rothschild Asset Management (RAM). In 2009, Insight Investment was acquired by BNY Mellon Corporation from Lloyds Banking Group. In 2013, Insight merged with Pareto Investment Management. Today, the company employs about 1,150 people including over 270 investment professionals, and maintains key corporate offices in Boston, San Francisco, New York, Frankfurt, Dublin, Sydney, Tokyo and Manchester. As of September 30, 2024, Insight Investment had over €799 billion in global assets under management (AUM) on behalf of financial institutions, pension funds, insurers and sovereign wealth funds.
