Lloyds Banking Group plc is one of the leading British financial institutions with 63,000 employees and 27 million customers. It has a presence in every community and is the largest retail and commercial bank in the UK. The Group’s main business segments are retail banking, corporate and institutional banking, small and medium businesses, home, motor and protection insurance and pensions & investments. Lloyds Banking Group was created in 2009 through the acquisition of HBOS by Lloyds TSB.
