Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, headquartered in Turin, is the largest Italian bank by assets, loans, market capitalization, number of branches and employees. It has a domestic market share of 22% in customer deposits, 24% in customer loans, 21% in asset management, 22.4% in pension funds and 27% in factoring. The company’s business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Private Banking, Asset Management, Banca dei Territori segment, International Subsidiary Banks, Insurance (Intesa Sanpaolo Vita, Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura and Fideuram Vita), Eurizon Capital and Capital Light Bank. Eurizon Capital is one of the largest asset managers in Europe with assets under management (AUM) of over EUR 370 billion.
