Municipality Finance
Municipality Finance plc (MuniFin or Kuntarahoitus Oyj) is one of the largest financial institutions in Finland. It employs over 160 people and provides loan and leasing products, risk management and financial advisory services. MuniFin provides services only to municipalities and social housing sector. The company’s shareholders include municipalities (53%), public sector pension fund Keva (31%) and Finnish government (16%). MuniFin is also one of the most active Finnish bond issuers. Municipality Finance was founded in 1990 and today has about EUR 48 billion in total assets (2022).
