SpareBank 1 Sør-Norge ASA, headquartered in Stavanger, is a leading regional bank in Norway with over 35 branches and 2,300 employees from Bergen to Oslo. It is the second biggest Norwegian owned bank. It serves more than 350,000 clients and offers a wide array of personal and corporate banking services including checking and savings accounts, consumer loans; car, boat and other vehicle loans, mortgages, debit and credit cards for all ages, online banking, mobile services, pension plans, factoring and leasing as well as insurance services including travel and life insurance, and mortgage and auto insurance. The company is part of the SpareBank 1 Alliance which includes 14 independent savings banks and 300 branches across Norway. At September 30, 2023, SpareBank 1 SR-Bank Group had total assets of NOK 363 billion, gross loans of NOK 270 billion and customer deposits of NOK 151 billion. The company’s market capitalization was over US$4.8 billion as of November 15, 2024.

In October 2024, SpareBank 1 SR-Bank completed the meger with SpareBank 1 Sørøst-Norge. The new bank has name SpareBank 1 Sør-Norge ASA.
