Arbejdernes Landsbank AS is one of the leading retail banks in Denmark with over 270,000 clients, 23,000 private shareholders, 1,100 employees and about 70 branches across the country. The Bank provides checking and savings accounts, debit and credit cards, consumer and commercial loans, car loans, corporate loans, mortgages, insurance products, mobile and online banking, payments and trade finance, capital markets, institutional banking, securities operations, asset management, merchant services, foreign exchange and more. AL Finans, specializing in factoring, leasing and car financing, is a subsidiary of Arbejdernes Landsbank. For the first half of 2023, the Bank reported profit after tax of DKK 874 million, total assets of DKK 112 billion, loans of DKK 45 billion and deposits of DKK 90 billion. The company was founded in 1919 and is headquartered in Copenhagen. In 2021, Arbejdernes acquired a majority shareholding in Vestjysk Bank.
