Leeds Building Society (LBS) is the fifth largest British building society serving around 950,000 members through 50 branches across the country. It provides a range of mortgage and savings products with competitive interest rates as well as online solutions and life planning including insurance, personal review, funeral planning, will writing and more. Mortgage products include fixed rate mortgages; buy-to-let, holiday let and shared ownership & equity mortgages, intermediary mortgages and remortgaging. The buildings and contents insurance are provided by Aviva and the critical illness and life insurance by Legal & General. Leeds Building Society currently doesn’t offer Lifetime ISA (LISA), only cash ISAs. The company was established in 1875 and today employs about 1,800 colleagues. In 2023, Leeds Building Society helped more than 17,700 people to buy their first home. For the first half of 2024, the society reported profit after tax of £38 million, total assets of £30 billion, deposits of £22.4 billion and residential loans of £23 billion. The company boasts an overall customer satisfaction rating of 94%.
