Nottingham Building Society is the ninth largest building society in the UK in terms of assets. With around 450 employees (full time equivalent), it offers mortgage and savings products, life and home insurance, income protection, financial and estate planning as well as online services including Beehive money app. The Society has partnered with Mortgage Advice Bureau which has 1,600 advisers and access to over 12,000 mortgages from about 100 lenders. As at 30 June 2024, Nottingham Building Society had total assets of £4.8 billion, customer loans of £3.8 billion and savings balance of £4.0 billion. The Society was established in 1849 by local Quaker Samuel Fox. Today, it serves more than 292,000 members and maintains a network of thirty-one branches across 8 counties in central England. The company has achieved a Trustpilot rating of 4.9 out of a possible 5 during 2024 (over 2,670 reviews as of November 1, 2024).
