West Bromwich Building Society (aka the West Brom) is the seventh largest building society in the United Kingdom in terms of assets. It has approximately 398,000 members and 34 branches in the West Midlands region of England. It offers a range of financial services including savings accounts, tax-free ISAs, bonds, children's accounts, fixed and variable rate mortgages, cashback mortgages, standard and premier home insurance, independent financial advice, later life planning as well as online solutions. For the financial year ended March 31, 2024, the West Brom reported profit before tax of £32.1 million, total assets of £5.99 billion, retail deposits of £4.67 billion and residential loans of £4.65 billion. West Bromwich Building Society was established in 1849 and today has over 660 employees.
